Lantsias

Born in Cyprus in 1966, Lantsias
studied the piano and music theory at the Hellenic Odeon of Nicosia.
In 1986, he moved to the US, where he graduated from the Berkeley
School of Music and won a number of honors and distinctions. He
studied jazz with Charlie Bonakos and returned to Greece in 1992
working on a number of orchestrations for a vast array of albums.
From 1993 to 1996, he conducted the orchestra of the Greek Song
Festival of Thessaloniki. In 1994, he set the orchestration for
the musical "Some Like It Hot" and in 1995 for "West Side Story".
In 1996 (in Norway) and in 1997 (in Ireland), he conducted the Cypriot
Orchestra for the song festival of EUROVISION. He has worked with
some of the leading Greek musicians and
composers and formed HUMAN TOUCH along with David
Lynch and Yiotis
Kiourtsoglou.
